Who am I?

I’m Jake, a graphic designer and illustrator. Creative concepts, problem solving, looking at the human aspect of design are areas I embrace. I love creating illustrative narratives, researching, and designing with empathy in mind. Design might be one of the last tools we have left to save the only world we have. I want to use my knowledge, skills, and personal privilege as a designer to make this world a better and lasting place.

On the side I screen print as a hobby. I was a bike mechanic for 10+ years. By the way, I’m kinda weird. I’m fun too, I guess. You might have watched me play bike polo. I do that (well, until school took priority, and then a global pandemic, and then partially dislocated my hip [edited: April 2022], but it’s a thing! Ask me about it!) Generally, I’m a bit of an outdoorsy-PNW-sterotype kind of person.
