Who am I?
I’m Jake, a graphic designer and illustrator. Creative concepts, problem solving, looking at the human aspect of design are areas I embrace. I love creating illustrative narratives, researching, and designing with empathy in mind. Design might be one of the last tools we have left to save the only world we have. I want to use my knowledge, skills, and personal privilege as a designer to make this world a better and lasting place.–ANYWAYS–
Oustide of my design life I’m kind of a semi-demi-sorta stereotypical outdoorsy-PNW person. Y’know: run, hike, bike, camp, eat way too much granola kinda person. Prior to design I was a bicycle mechanic for 10+ years, maybe I fixed your bike? You might have watched me play bike polo. I do that, it’s a thing! Ask me about it? People think I’m funny? I think I’m fun?
